Our pullouts come as a complete assembly and will include all of the parts that are commonly used from the donor vehicle in order to retrofit into a vehicle other than the original intended application. Pullouts do not require a core to be turned in or core charge paid as typically required with the purchase of a used or rebuilt part. For a full list of parts included please feel free to Contact Us.
A pullout engine will also include additional items needed for conversion purposes and in most cases will include the transmission. These items are not included with the purchase of a used or new engine. Used engines require a core charge to be paid or the same type of engine turned in for a core. There is no core charge on pullout engines.
Some of our pullouts are paired with transmissions other than the original. Most commonly are engines from Corvettes where a conventional transmission is required as opposed to the Corvette’s rear mounted transmission. In other instances, the transmission may be changed to a one that is more desirable for conversions than the original. The transmission most commonly used is a rebuilt 4L70.
